Barack Obama's Election Victory Speech

In Barrack Obama's election victory speech, he expresses an exceptional amount of pride for his family's support in his achieving of his goal, and in himself, for the same reason. Obama should be proud, as he is not only one of the four presidents who have been elected, he is the first president of the United Sates to be of a different racial decent. He expresses pride for something which is worthy of pride, yet he does not express his pride arrogantly. In some people, if they were to be elected for presidency, they would become blinded by what is perceived as power, and use this to fuel their own arrogance. President Obama on the other hand has not let it "go to his head", so to speak, and has remained level headed. President Obama has remained the same person (albeit, slightly more stressed), he still cares for his family, and everything else in his life, and has not allowed himself to be consumed by the power as others before him may have allowed to happen.

Also, president Obama does not over state the truth, specifically about his belief that he felt it was unlikely for him to be elected to his position in office. He states everything as it is, for example, "There are many who won't agree with every decision or policy I make as President...".
