Conclusion

In conclusion, pride is a fairly complex topic. In most cases, there is a very fine line drawn between simply being proud of an achievement (reasonably proud) and being outright arrogant (unreasonably proud). If one takes there pride just a small step forward, it could culminate in the start of arrogance.

Pride almost always starts with the exceptable amount of pride, but can escalate to arrogance, through many different ways. A proud person is a person who respects themselves enough not to look like a fool by becoming arrogant, but it is therefore evident that arrogant people could never have really been proud, just always arrogant.
